 MIN09-7 Quartz with TourmalineHairball Pocket, San Marcos Mountains, San Diego County, California1 5/8’ x ¾” x ½” Recent work on a pegmatite in the San Marcos Mountains of San Diego County has yielded unusual Feldspars. Very few quartz crystals, several with black Tourmaline (some inclusions) were recovered. Field collected by Al & Erik Rose, Jeffery Kent. |
